Align body text to a baseline gridSECTION Pro

From columns and a baseline to body lines that sit on the grid.

1. Start from a preset
   Pick the preset closest to your medium. There are 37, among them desktop site 12 columns, A4 booklet and B5 magazine.
2. Set the columns
   On the Columns layer, set the count and the gutter. Ratios make them uneven, such as sidebar 3 : main 9.
3. Add the baseline
   On the Baseline layer, set the spacing to your body leading. Every n-th line can be drawn bold.
4. Add a composition and generate
   Add thirds or the golden spiral on the Composition layer if you want them, then press [Generate]. To change it later, select the generated grid and press [Refresh]; its settings come back.
